1. Who we are
Home Tour TV is operated by 2813434 Alberta Ltd., doing business as Olyveco, a corporation incorporated under the laws of Alberta, Canada. In this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to 2813434 Alberta Ltd.
Home Tour TV is a Canadian YouTube channel dedicated to active property video tours. The submityourlisting.ca web application is the tool through which real estate agents and property owners submit listing content for publication on the channel.

2. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through:
- hometourtv.com (the marketing landing page and waitlist)
- submityourlisting.ca (the listing submission application)
- The Olyveco ecosystem, including olyveco.com, where a user’s profile data may be shared across platforms
This policy does not apply to the Home Tour TV YouTube channel itself, which is operated on YouTube’s platform and subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
3. Our legal obligations
We are subject to the following Canadian privacy laws:
- PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) — federal legislation governing how private-sector organizations collect, use, and disclose personal information in the course of commercial activities
- PIPA (Personal Information Protection Act, Alberta) — provincial legislation applicable to our Alberta operations
- CASL (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation) — governing commercial electronic messages sent to users who sign up or submit listings
We collect, use, and disclose personal information only with your knowledge and consent, and only for the purposes identified in this policy.
4. What personal information we collect
4.1 Information you provide directly
When you join the waitlist on hometourtv.com:
- First name and last name
- Email address
- Province
- Brokerage name (optional)
When you create an account on submityourlisting.ca:
- Full name
- Professional headshot or profile photo
- Brokerage name
- Brokerage address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Province of operation
- Website URL (optional)
When you submit an MLS listing on submityourlisting.ca:
- MLS listing number
- Brokerage name (as it should appear in the video)
- Property address (street address and city)
- Province
- Listing price
- Property details (bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage)
- Property type (single family, duplex, condo/apartment, townhouse, lot, acreage)
- Property age (new build, 0–5 years, 6–10 years, 11–20 years, 21–40 years, 41–60 years, 60+ years)
- Highlight text (short headline for the video intro)
- Full property description (optional, appears in YouTube description)
- Narration text (a personal description of what makes the property or neighbourhood special, used to generate voice narration)
- Voice type preference (female, neutral, or male narrator)
- Listing URL (optional, used for QR code in video outro)
- Listing photos (up to 20 photos per submission, maximum 10 MB each)
- Per-photo captions (for photos 6 through 20)
When you submit a private sale listing on submityourlisting.ca:
- All of the above, except MLS listing number is replaced by:
- Title holder name (must match the name on your account)
- Property address and province (used as the unique identifier instead of MLS number)
4.2 Information we collect automatically
On hometourtv.com and submityourlisting.ca:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on pages
- Referring URL
- Google Analytics 4 data (see Section 9)
4.3 Information we derive or generate
- Assembled listing videos produced from your submitted photos, property data, captions, and profile information using Creatomate video rendering templates
- AI-generated voice narration audio produced from your narration text using ElevenLabs text-to-speech technology
- Video thumbnails generated as a snapshot of the video template using Creatomate
- YouTube video metadata (title, description, tags) generated from your submission data and profile information
- QR codes linking to your listing URL or profile website, embedded in the video outro
5. How we use your personal information
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:
To deliver the Home Tour TV service:
- Producing branded listing video tours from your submitted photos, captions, and data using Creatomate video rendering
- Generating AI voice narration from your narration text using ElevenLabs text-to-speech
- Publishing listing videos on the Home Tour TV YouTube channel via the YouTube Data API
- Generating video thumbnails incorporating your name, photo, brokerage, and contact information
- Embedding your phone number, MLS number, and contact details in persistent video overlays
- Generating a QR code in the video outro linking to your listing URL or profile website
- Sending you the YouTube link for your published video
To manage your account:
- Populating your branding information automatically across all listing submissions
- Maintaining your profile across the Olyveco ecosystem
To communicate with you:
- Confirming your waitlist signup
- Delivering your listing video link on publication
- Notifying you about your listing status
- Sending information about Olyveco’s professional community and related services, where you have consented to receive such communications under CASL
To process payments:
- Processing listing submission fees through Stripe (for premium templates)
- Managing billing portal access and subscription status
To improve our service:
- Analysing aggregate usage data to improve platform performance
- Monitoring for technical errors and service issues
For legal and compliance purposes:
- Maintaining records of your consent to publish listing content on Home Tour TV
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your personal information for advertising targeting on any platform other than to contact you directly about our own services.
6. How we share your personal information
We share your personal information only as described below.
6.1 Information published publicly on YouTube
When your listing video is published on the Home Tour TV YouTube channel, the following information becomes publicly visible:
- Your full name
- Your brokerage name
- Your professional photo
- Your phone number
- Your email address (in video description)
- Your brokerage address (in video description)
- The MLS listing number (or “Private Sale” designation)
- The property address
- The listing price and property details (bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, property type, property age)
- The property photos you submitted
- Your per-photo captions
- AI-generated voice narration derived from your narration text
- Your listing URL or website (as a QR code in the outro)
You acknowledge and consent to this public disclosure when you submit a listing.
6.2 Third-party service providers
We share personal information with the following categories of service providers who process data on our behalf:

All third-party service providers are contractually required to protect personal information and use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.
6.3 Legal requirements
We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
6A. Google user data and the YouTube Data API
Home Tour TV uses the YouTube Data API v3 to publish listing videos to our own YouTube channel, @HomeTourTV, which we own and operate.
What Google user data we access
- Our own YouTube channel (channel-owner authorization): Through a one-time OAuth 2.0 authorization performed by our channel owner, we obtain and securely store a refresh token that allows our backend to upload and manage videos on our own @HomeTourTV channel. We request only the
youtube.upload and youtube.force-ssl scopes.
- Basic profile (agents who sign in with Google): If an agent chooses to sign in with Google, we receive their name, email address, and profile picture (the
email and profile scopes) solely to create and authenticate their Home Tour TV account.
- We do not access, request, or store any other user’s YouTube data. Agents never connect their own YouTube accounts.
How we use Google user data
We use it solely to provide user-facing features: uploading each finished listing video (videos.insert), setting its custom thumbnail (thumbnails.set), adding it to the relevant province and city playlists (playlistItems.insert), and setting a video to Private when the corresponding listing is marked sold (videos.update). We do not use Google user data for advertising, lending, or any purpose other than providing and improving these features.
AI and machine learning
Our video assembly (Creatomate) and voice narration (ElevenLabs) operate only on the photos and text an agent submits to us. We do not use any Google or YouTube API user data to develop, improve, or train AI/ML models, and we do not transfer any Google or YouTube API user data to third-party services for AI/ML training.
How we transfer, protect, retain, and delete Google user data
- Transfer: We do not sell Google user data and do not transfer it to data brokers or advertisers. Data is processed only by the service providers listed in Section 6.2 to deliver the service.
- Protection: The channel-owner refresh token is stored as an encrypted server-side secret in our Supabase backend, is never exposed to agents or in client-side code, and all data is transmitted over HTTPS.
- Retention and deletion: The channel-owner authorization is retained only while the Home Tour TV service is operated and is revoked when no longer needed. Agent account and profile data follow the retention periods in Section 7. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@olyveco.com.
Revoking access
You can review or revoke the Google account permissions granted to any application, including Home Tour TV, at any time from your Google Account security settings. Google’s use of any information received through YouTube API Services is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Limited Use
Home Tour TV’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, subject to the following:
- Waitlist signups: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until 24 months of inactivity.
- Agent/user accounts: Retained for the duration of your active relationship with Home Tour TV and for a period of 7 years following account closure, for legal and compliance purposes.
- Listing submission records: Retained for 7 years following the listing’s removal date, for compliance and dispute resolution purposes.
- Published videos: Removed from YouTube when an agent marks the listing as sold through their dashboard, or upon request. Removal may not be instantaneous due to YouTube processing times. If a video is not removed promptly, contact us at hello@olyveco.com.
- TTS narration audio: Stored in Supabase storage and retained as long as the associated listing is active. Deleted when the listing record is removed.
- Analytics data: Retained in accordance with Google Analytics 4 data retention settings (default: 14 months).
8. Your privacy rights
Under PIPEDA and PIPA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information
- Withdraw consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) at priv.gc.ca, or with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (OIPC) at oipc.ab.ca

We will respond to privacy requests within 30 days.
Important limitation on deletion of published content: If your listing video has been published on the Home Tour TV YouTube channel, we can remove the video from YouTube and delete your data from our systems. However, we cannot guarantee the deletion of cached copies of your information held by Google, YouTube, or other third parties. If you require removal of publicly accessible content, please contact us as soon as possible.
9. Cookies and analytics
hometourtv.com and submityourlisting.ca use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our platforms. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data including page views, session duration, device type, and geographic region at the city level.
We use Google Analytics to:
- Understand which provinces and regions are engaging with Home Tour TV
- Measure the effectiveness of our marketing communications
- Improve platform usability
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising or retargeting purposes on third-party platforms.
10. Data security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) on all platforms
- Row-level security policies on our Supabase database
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel
- Secure API authentication for all third-party integrations (Creatomate, ElevenLabs, YouTube, Stripe)
- Payment card data is processed directly by Stripe and never stored on our systems
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your personal information.
11. Cross-border data transfers
Our service providers may store or process your personal information outside of Canada, including in the United States. By using our platforms, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to countries outside Canada where privacy laws may differ from those in your province. We take reasonable steps to ensure that transferred data receives protection consistent with Canadian privacy law.
12. Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for real estate professionals and property owners and are not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of our platforms following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. The effective date at the top of this document indicates when the policy was last revised.
